new slate. new you.

hey lovlies. today marks a symbolic day for me. my roommate (whom we didnt like much) officially moved out yesterday. therefore, i am able to move into the room i was SUPPOSED to have when i moved into the house in august. bigger room. did i mention HUGE closet?!?...

well, as i was starting to move my belongings into the room a friend of mine reminded me that this is a new slate. a fresh place to start from. i may have been in a bad place in the past, certainly of late, but as of today it is a new day. the sun is shining. i have a lot to be thankful for. last night i decided even though my bed wasnt moved in, i wanted to start my journey in my new room. so i picked up my sheets, blankets, and pillows and had myself a little sleepover on the floor. i woke up this morning wondering where i was and remembered that this is my new life. i am excited to begin this journey..
